Ifeoma Okwuosa is a trustee of the Sir Emeka Okwuosa Foundation. She has an undergraduate law degree from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, and a law degree from Nigeria Law School, Lagos. While practicing, she worked for Elsie Thompson Chambers representing clients in various industries, including oil and gas. As a member of the International Federation of Women Lawyers, Rivers State Zone (FIDA), she oversaw the Scholarship Committee and was a member of the Management Committee. At FIDA, she also provided legal aid to at-risk clients on family law matters, including domestic violence.
Chibundu Okwuosa is a trustee of the Sir Emeka Okwuosa Foundation. She is actively involved in working to enhance the Foundation’s impact and liaises with the Team, key stakeholders and potential partners to achieve this goal. Throughout the years, she has strengthened her commitment to philanthropy and social justice by volunteering in different capacities, including learning disabled school programs and human rights groups.
She has an undergraduate degree in Political Science and African Studies from Northwestern University, and a law degree from Columbia Law School at Columbia University. Chibundu started her career as a lawyer with Debevoise & Plimpton LLP, working in their New York office. As a lawyer, she has also provided pro bono assistance to low-income clients on immigration and other matters.
Dr Theo Chike Osanakpo holds a PhD degree in law from University of Exeter, England and elevated to the coveted rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria in 1997. He is a Fellow of Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, United Kingdom. His focus area of legal practice is Commercial Transaction Law, Corporate Law Practice, Intellectual Property Law, Civil Litigation involving corporate bodies, Arbitration and Cross-border transaction. He has held positions of responsibility at different times namely - President African and Caribbean Students Association, University of Exeter, England; Pro-Chancellor and Chairman Governing Council, Federal University of Technology, Owerri, Chairman, Board of Directors Finbank Plc, Chairman, Presidential Special Visitation Panel, University of Abuja. Chairman, NBA Property; Development Committee and Chairman, NBA Anti-Corruption Commission.
He has had the singular privilege of being honored by Two Popes at different times with the exalted conferment of Knight of Saint Gregory the Great (KSGG) by His Holiness Pope John Paul II 1n 1992 and Knight Commander of Saint Gregory the Great (KCSCIG) by His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI 1n 2009. He was conferred with Doctor of Letters (D.L1tt) Honoris Causa by the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) ln March 2011.
Amanda Obidike is an accomplished non-profit leader and Data Scientist with 10 years’ experience in directing social enterprises, start-ups and complex organizations in Africa, Europe and MENA Nations. She is the General Manager of the Sir Emeka Okwuosa Foundation. Her role at SEOF combines her passion for social innovation, youth development, reform in education curriculum, technology, and building new programs. She holds a Master’s in Business Management from IBMI, Berlin and Certification in Economic policy making from IE Business School, Spain.
In 2021, she became a Global 20 Goldman Sachs Fellowship Winner and emerged Winner in the UK’s foremost award, the FDM EveryWoman in Technology, Tech For Good Category. In 2020, she was given the Technology Rising Star Award by WOC, Michigan for successfully championing diversity in technology and innovation for the girl child. She has also been celebrated by Forbes Science as an African changing the culture fabric for young talents to embrace opportunities in Science and Technology.
Amanda has led Strategy Development and Execution, Humanitarian responses and has served as the African Union (AU) CESASTEM Cluster for driving Educator reforms, policies and instructional pedagogy in STEM across 21 African countries. She serves as a Mentor in the New York Academy of Science and Cherie Blair Foundation, Global thinkers for Women where she lends her voice and knowledge to serve as a role model to girls in Africa. She also currently serves on the Leadership Board of the Nigerian Global Affairs Council, STEMi Makers of Africa, Innovation Village, Kenya and as a Trustee at the MAI Foundation for Women Empowerment and Advocacy Center.
